Faith in Progress explores people, organizations, issues, and events in Northern Colorado from a multi-faith perspective. Your host, Hillel Katzir, is a retired rabbi and former lawyer who has returned to radio after a 45-year absence, who hosts and produces Faith in Progress on KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins. He is passionate about bringing people together across religious and other lines, to work together toward a better world for all.

An occasional event called Our Neighbors' Faith, sponsored by the Interfaith Council, CSU Multifaith and Belief Initiatives, and City of Fort Collins Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, brought people from different faith communities together to learn about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This podcast presents a recording of the talks by leaders of that Church, describing their beliefs and practices.

Youth suicides are a concern in Colorado. A Teen Self-Care Fair is planned for October 13 at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, to give young people alternatives to that concern.
I spoke with two of the planners of the Fair, Laura Vilaret-Tuma of the Museum of Discovery, and Rachel Olson of the Alliance for Sicide Prevention, about the fair, and the results they are hoping for.

The newest Faith in Progress podcast is a recording of a discussion between about 80 people in Fort Collins (live and virtual) with two spokespeople of the joint Palestinian-Israeli peace group Parents Circle Families Forum. The group is made up of Israeli and Palestinian families, each of whom has lost a close loved one to the conflict; they have all chosen reconciliation over revenge, and work together for peace.
