Your host, Hillel Katzir, is a retired rabbi and former lawyer who has returned to radio after a 45-year absence, who hosts and produces Faith in Progress on KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins. He is passionate about bringing people together across religious and other lines, to work together toward a better world for all.

The group is made up of Israeli and Palestinian families, each of whom has lost a close loved one to the conflict; they have all chosen reconciliation over revenge, and work together for peace.

Safe Families for Children is a faith-inspired alternative to children having to enter the state foster care system. As the movement's Northern Colorado director Roxy Tines explains in this new podcast, families experiencing difficulties can voluntarily place their child in a safe home for a limited period, until the difficulties are resolved, with help from volunteers from the organization.
